^^ just saw that

Some more details:
it’s estimated the attack happened around 3am-4am, but the police did not arrive at the house till noon on Sunday.
The weapon was not found at the crime scene

Just before noon Sunday, police officers responded to a call of an unconscious person less than a mile from campus and discovered four bodies

Did the unconscious victim in the police response turn out to be one of the murdered victims or completely different but led police to others?

Before the senseless violence statement (and edged weapon update) this made me think at first that the unconscious person was a 5th person/victim and that this being fentanyl related or another drug was a possibility. That changed with the senseless violence comment, but if unconscious person report was one of the victims did the person who called it in just see one not responding inside to knocks on door without seeing wounds or others?

4 college kids killed with an "edged weapon?"

Has anyone seen this guy recently?

My guess is he went room to room stabbing them while they slept. Maybe someone in the residence woke up at some point, but he was able to kill at least a couple before the anyone else realized what was happening.

The attack occurred in the middle of the night. I don’t think they were having a small party, and he walked in and started hacking all four to death in the same room.

So there is still no suspect? Is the reporting bad or what is being withheld? If someone escaped from the house, wouldn't they be able to give information. Did they have any security cameras in the area?

So they don't have a suspect?

For four people to get killed with an "edge weapon", wouldn't there have to be multiple killers? Because I'm just thinking it takes some time to kill someone that way and one or more should've been able to get away int that time, no?

So fricking weird and terrible.

Why are you saying “he”?
I don’t think you can discredit that it could’ve been one of the other 2 roommates. What do you think is meant by a “property crime gone wrong”?

Not necessarily, 1 killer could have gone room by room killing them as they slept.

My bets on an axe. Strong swift blow to the head would be swift enough to sneak through the house for quick quiet kills.

Fair point. I just defaulted to them being up partying or something and someone busting in or them confronting someone on the property.

Now the mayor is saying it’s a property crime? I thought it was a crime of passion (like a jilted lover)?

Not if they are a master with the blade. We should probably get some input from Ryno in his numbchucks thread.

He said both, but the new speculation was the possibility of it being a property crime.
Still not sure what that means bc they said it wasn’t a robbery.

Pissed off landlord? Upset roommate? Another tenant if it was a multiple unit rental?
