What is a good website to get general news from that doesn't consist entirely of articles and headlines that have some sort of underlying political agenda?

There is none.

Honestly, this is where I've been getting my local news as of late. A lot of mixed views on different topics and there is really no way to suppress specific posts with a voting system, so everyone's voice is heard. Plus you guys can be pretty entertaining.

Listen / read any MSM source (AP, NYT, NBC).

Then watch Fox News Special Report w Brett Baier). FF through commercials, takes 20 minutes.

You’ll be offered both sides of an issue. You’ll have to weigh the information & make your own conclusion.

Local news tends to be okay. Any major cable network news is going to lean pretty hard because they are shelling out for ratings $$$ and cater to their audience.

10-15 years ago I would've said CNN. But they at first moved to the left lane and then took a hard left turn.

United Press International -- UPI

Just news - no political crap and the odd news section is usually pretty funny

compared to the US media, the BBC seems unbiased when it comes to American issues

There is a third side. As much as we talk left wing vs right wing, the parties enjoy the setup because it keeps people distracted by topical issues while real shite happens unnoticed.

CNN was founded by Ted Turner. Ted Turner doesn't have even a centrist bone in his body. 10-15 years ago. LMAO.
