Probably hadn't gone to sleep yet.
Not saying this guy was on it, but I also wouldn't be surprised if he was. To go from an armed robbery to murder that early in the morning, I agree with the posters saying that he didn't go to sleep that night and maybe longer.
Why couldn't he just rob the guy and go about his business? I know that's obviously not normal either, but why murder? Just makes no sense to me.

Was it because he was wearing a hoodie in the middle or summer? Otherwise, I wouldn't think this would look out of place in that area.
If you owned a business on Florida blvd and noticed someone pacing around your parking lot in a hoodie, you wouldn't think something of it?

The seeds of this were sown by LBJ and his stooges.
American society now reaps their devil wind.

I'm in a county that borders Knox County (a choice made by taxation and land and home prices.) Exceptional good neighbors, great weather, the advantages of being near a smaller city with fewer to the city problems. And I know Jonesborough well. We looked up there and the realtor we used (a near perfect house and land sold two weeks before we met him) had had his gun collection stollen. And recovered within a week.

Just curious about the schools, job market, crime, culcha and cost of living. Me and the wife are probably upper middle class in BR but we pay out the arse for private school tuition. I liked Knoxville when we visited but don't know a ton about the city

I'm old, and not at all 'in the game' anymore but am not naive in the slightest when it comes to drugs. You're right that meth was always a white mans drug in BR and can only think of one black guy I knew that occasionally did meth. Ironically, he died last year of a heroin overdose. I was surprised to see exstacy getting popular in the hood when it did 10 years ago or so. That being said, I'm living in North La now and am on a different side of the 'game'. I spend a lot of time around addiction treatment and recovery. It surprised the shite out of me to see that meth is taking hold in the ghetto, especially in these small town hoods. In the towns around Alexandria all the way up here in Monroe, I've met more and more black meth dealers and users. Surprised the hell out of me. Also, the blacks love their fricking mojo up here. frick that, that's dangerous shite. I don't know why they'd stray from weed to that nasty crap.

I honestly hope BRPD beats the suspect within an inch of his life before they haul his arse in.

They are probably making sure the perp isn't one of the thousands of Broom supporters that got a contract with her office.
