Jonesborough is a lovely town with nice people who don't expect this sort of thing to happen. Much less in broad daylight. That whole town will feel this loss.

breaks my heart to read his parent's quotes...they are probably about the age of my parents and they will be thinking about him a few minutes from now when he would normally have arrived home after a long day's work.

Wow... If there was ever a,"okay, frick you, N.BR/N.Fla Blvd" thread it's this one
A year ago today I was back in BR for the first time in forever and planning on moving back....
Then I got off the college dr exit and mf reality set in. What the frick is wrong with this city to where I as a same individual want to cover everything north of gubment st in napalm. Really tho, after a total of twenty minutes off the exit ramp o said,"Nope. Not gonna happen... I'll go be a Northshore tryhard, thibodeau baw or Houma water rat... frick this place..." This was two days before the flood.
Most yak know I'm not a huge Kip fan but he is the mayor BR deserves, but not the one it needs right now

It's terrible to hear man. He was basically on the dividing line of the city. Most of the areas south are decent except for a few glaring exceptions. Pretty much anything north is ghetto. It's still surprising at that time of the morning. That's a very busy highway. There would have been tons of cars passing at 7-8am.
