NWS with a cop out this morning. Let's just put the whole line under a warning....

At this point, there is no way to warn them individually. Also, some significant debris signatures up in Mississippi as well this morning.

News said it's a broad warning zone because there have been multiple spins along the line. Meteorologist said this type of warning is unusual. There are areas of circulation north of BR and one by St Gabriel/Gardere area.

I do like how they mentioned straightline winds in the warning as well, which can be just as destructive.

Totally opposite from what happened in Joplin,MO and their failed warning strategy.

New scan came in and he said no tell tale signs that there is currently a tornado on the ground at this time

That warning is issued for the extremely intense band that's passing through BR. It's embedded in the overall structure of the squall line.
