Yep, google search scientology musical chairs, they discuss it in the HBO documentary, but it's still a good read.

Yeah that's probably where MRS. MCSAVAGE is, in confinement still begging to stay.

I think they'll make a deal in which both sides agree to give the public impression of an amicable parting and neither will criticize the other nor expose any secrets.
That could be the whole point. The documentary exposed a lot of what they are, and was legitimized by the former high officials that were included in it. This might be damage control.

As a bonus, they'll also get the opportunity to publicly debunk one of the widely-believed (because it's true) criticisms of the church
Very possibly

I don't think society at large would care if he was gay. He'd probably be embraced, but I don't think the guy who called him a pervert was talking about that. I think he might be into some really weird shite.

That is among the many things I have heard. There have been quite a few former members who have told their stories. Of course the church claims they are lying, but if they are being truthful, it's downright crazy what's going on in that outfit.

I have to agree with you on that. In this day and age, outing someone, even a big movie star, as gay would just not be that big a deal. To have real leverage on him, it would have to be something more.

It might be funny to find out. Bestiality snuff films? He could frick the animal and then kill and eat it.

Also, the average person wouldn't refer to you as "perverted," which this guy did.

Some weird fish fetish, like Troy McClure from The Simpsons.

Or something less funny.

Quite the opposite actually. The media would embrace him as brave and destroy Scientology for blackmailing him on such a private matter.

It would further destroy Scientology if they acted out and tried to ruin him for being gay, which is downright celebrated in the media/hollywood these days.

Personally, I think he fricks goats.

Seriously, outside of pedophilia, what could Tom Cruise do sexually these days where the media would seek to ostracize him?

After Bruce/Caitlyn Jenner and the normalization/legalization of same-sex marriage, what other sexual mores are so taboo that he would have to fear being "outted" by the Scientologist goon squad?

If it is too outlandish, people won't believe it any way.

Shoving eels up his arse. Sticking his dick in tree knots. Use your imagination.

And they tape record the sessions, so they have proof.

Yeah, like you never did any of that? I mean, in this age of enlightenment, why should you and I judge him for something everyone has done at one time or another.

When your organization is too weird for Tom Cruise, you need to examine your organization.

Ehhh. I think Tom is significantly richer than Sexy Rexy. Rex's career earnings are around 15 mil. Tom crushes that in one movie.

Hey I like Tom Cruise's movies. I've been on board ever since the classic Losin It. It doesn't mean he doesn't like to jack off onto Elmo dolls while they're saying "I wanna be your best friend."

Maybe that's why they were so expensive back then. He was secretly buying them all and using them up like tissues.

Referring to his character in Tropic Thunder. I thought the gift would have reiterated that point, but apparently not.
