Biggest trick to sticking with working out is to get a gym partner.

Regularly working out with another person will keep you motivated make you more likely to go on scheduled days. If you skip, you are letting that person down in addition to feeling shitty about yourself for skipping.

YES!!!

For me, it all started when I went to go get fitted for a suit and my waist was 37".

Then, I went out to eat with family and I saw my gut in the window.

Never. Again.

The trick to getting up in the morning is to get up as soon as the alarm goes off. You just gotta do it. As far as motivation goes, trainers and coaches can motivate you while you are doing the actual work, but YOU have to find the motivation to get off your butt and go inside yourself. You have to WANT to change. If you don't have that want to inside of you, you never will change because you will always find an excuse to not go. Once you get the mindset of you HAVE to change it will become easier to go to the gym. It's not easy to go every day and a lot of the time it sucks. You just gotta do it. You are in charge of your own health and happiness. No one else is.

Easy.

Find a hot chick that goes to your gym, get on her workout schedule and you'll never quit.

Focus on your sleep and overall stress management (you should not have to struggle to get up). Commit to minimal light /electronic exposure 1 hour prior to bed. Try to sleep between 7.5 and 8 hours (you will have to figure out your individual sleep cycle). If you do this right you should not have to set an alarm or even need one. Withings makes a device that can wake you up at the lightest part of you sleep cycle using blue light

When starting:

Focus on diet (low processed carbs, high quality fat, high quality protein). Think paleo, primal, keto
Keep training volume low (2 to 3 days per week of resistence strength training). Set the training bar low

As you ramp up:

Carbs can become more liberal in the post workout setting
Trainging volume can increase or you can stay at 2 to 3 days per week with high intensity interval training added to ramp up intensity of the sessions. If I were 20 and single I would find better things to do with my time than train 5 to 7 days per week (it is not necessary)...

Sleep and stress management should be prioritized throughout

The book above outlines all of this

Neither do I. He just stated he has a problem actually getting up in the morning. That's why I said what I said. Some people can hit the snooze a couple times and still get up in time. Some can't. I'm one of those that can't. It doesn't matter what time you work out, or what time I work out. Just that you go at some point during the day.

A lot of people seem to genuinely enjoy gym workouts and exercise. I am not one of those people, so I can't really help you.

I need some tips to get my arse up and going everyday

"Reps for pussy". Every rep you squeeze out gets you that much closer to banging an OT 6. Imagine yourself on a beach with a nice bandana on, some cutoff blue jeans and maybe a fishnet tank top. You will be pulling tons of arse. Why? Because flunitrezapem is a hell of a drug. Also, because you'll have the thundercock of Thor bulging out of those jorts and the muscular quads to match. You want pussy? Build a thick, manly back.

Now, imagine yourself in the same scenario.....only with your current Dad bod. You may as well not even show up.

Working out early in the morning is not the best idea for the casual trainee. Your body can't get going until later in the day usually and that kills motivation. Try working out on the way home from work or at lunch.

The thing I love about morning workouts is it boosts my energy levels during the day. It takes more motivation to get up a couple hours earlier though. It's easier to put in a couple hours after work.

Gym Pact

You could use one of these apps that charge you money if you don't make it to the gym. It pays you a little when you meet your "pact".
