Are you gonna make more $ after?
Yes but my wife and I have a dual income family. We are both saving for retirement, pay our bills on time, have zero credit card debt, no kids, etc.
We are comfortable now but I feel like as I am growing older I'm boxed in by the lack of degree. I was really fortunate to get the gig I'm at and now I want to use the flexibility I have to give myself a bit more panoramic view when it comes to future opportunities. Making more money would definitely come with a degree in my case, but the increase in available opportunity would be the biggest thing for me.

Eh, there are two different tax benefits. I only know about the lifetime learning credit, because that is the only one that can be applied for graduate school. With this credit you can be reimbursed for 20% of tuition and fees paid for the year. With the cap at 2k (if you paid 10k in tuition).
This can only be claimed if your combined adjusted gross income is less than 124k. And the percentage is modified at gross incomes between 104-124k. If you and your spouses combined adjusted gross income is less than 104k you are eligible for the entire 20%. It definitely lessens the blow of tuition.

I have no suggestions but want to applaud you for your efforts. My wife went back to college in her early 30s and received her degree.
It "aint easy" but it opens doors that otherwise would not be there.
