My neighborhood is missing good roads
I could also use a larger buffer from the ghetto.
Other than that I'm all set.
I wish we had bike sharing.

bike-share began in Europe in 1965,[2] and a viable format emerged in the mid-2000s thanks to the introduction of information technology. As of June 2014, public bikesharing systems were available on five continents, including 712 cities, operating approximately 806,200 bicycles at 37,500 stations

You can buy a loosey at the little hut around the corner with random shite like toilet paper and fizzy bubblech.

Also live in Mid-City and agree with this. Didn't really think about it though until you mentioned it. Kinda surprised the hipsters haven't gotten this done yet
I know right? With all of the b&%ching about Hipsters and Millennials in the neighborhood there isn't a single: apple store, sushi restaurant, fusion restaurant, local coffee shop, "farm to table" restaurant, organic produce market, or a place that sells skinny jeans. Outside of Radio Bar, Honeymoon Bungalow, Aladdin's Lamp, that bike shop, & Time Warp the businesses in that neighborhood more resemble a black neighborhood than a hipster or yuppie one.

That would be pretty cool, but I typically just ride my own bike.
My wife really liked the bike sharing thing in DC.

What the hell is up with the roads in new orleans neighborhoods? I went to Press Street Station a few weeks ago and made a wrong turn on the other side of Press St., and the streets were terrible. How do people drive on them.

I live in Mid-City in Baton Rouge and I feel as though they are missing a local coffee shop.
I also live in Mid City and I sometimes wish there was a better local bar.
I go to brew-ha-ha sometimes. It's not anything to write home about but it's not bad either.

Melrose (Nashville). I can't think of anything we're missing.

I drive a jeep and my wife drives a 4Runner, I'm not sure how people drive cars.

Couple of more restaurants - we have a lot of italian and mexican places, but would like more diversity

Morningside, Inglewood. We're missing Trader Joes, Whole Foods, or any decent grocery store. A farmers market, quality jobs, decent sports bar, middle income shopping.

We should just trade places.

Have a friend who has plans for a coffee shop/cafe in Midcity close to radio bar.
Taking longer than he thought with permits and inspections.
Hope he hasn't given up.
Live in GD. Want a fresh seafood market and butcher.

St. Amant
Good cajun butcher that specializes in boudin & Hogs Head Cheese. Leblanc's is a good value, but their boudin is far from great.
good BBQ stand
Chik-fil-a and/or Dairy Queen across the street from St. Amant High
Bar that:
A. doesn't smell like smoke
B. books bands that don't exclusively play covers
C. has more than just BMC on tap.
D. is preferably on the water, but easily accessible by car.

I can walk, unlike the suckers passing through and clogging up the roads.
