As much as he likes speaking about taxes, maybe someone should look into his. I'm sure his profession involves a good deal of cash transactions that aren't declared.

Excellent point! I would love to see those tax returns also.

Am I the only BR resident that's apathetic about all this? Either way BR needs a lot of work.

he doesn't live in the real world

The "real world" is just the cumulative effect of the people who live in it, for good or bad, sound minded or retarded. It should never be confused to indicate that it is a move in the right direction, just the world we make for ourselves, and can quite easily be directed positively or negatively depending upon the driving forces behind the thought processes of the people. In this case for sure, it's reactionary rather than makes any good sense. Want to change the real world, then change it. Don't want to, then settle for the effects of the real world as being out of your control, which it most certainly is not. In fact, it is us who make up what we see as our own realities. When you look around this place, what you see, for good or bad, is absolutely a mirror reflection of the people themselves. If we want to see that change, then change begins only with us making better personal choices every day.

I think having people realize that is the best thing that could come of this, regardless of the outcome.

I think an arse ton of people realize this.....I think these same people are seeing the fact that the status quo reigns supreme in BR regardless of what "people" try to do.

I'm not 100% for St. George....but I'm about at the point now where I say frick it lets give it a try because we can't get much worse from an administrative and educational perspective. I think a good many people are like this as well.

Yes... It can get worse, and at a faster clip too.

I'm glad you decided to shave and put the beanie away. Usually when people who look like that talk politics, normal people run the other direction.

You know...when I first saw that sign, I seriously read it without the last "r" on it before the ".org" I thought it said "better to get herb .org"

I think it made more sense when I read it that way.

Potentially yes.......however it just appears to me that we have Nero'd this situation long enough.

Like I said St. George probably isn't the answer, but is sitting around doing nothing and waiting for it to get worse any better?
