Dude, I apologize for sleeping. Your "explanation" is unreadable.

weird its unreadable when others commented on it and could understand it.

I guess if I was advocating for taking away personal freedoms you would have been able to read if perfectly

As a Christian I have plenty of fault with it. Committing suicide is not something you can repent beforehand. Once the deed is done you die in a state of mortal sin. There's no going back from that.

As a Christian, my fear for her is not where she will spend eternity as a result of this choice, but rather, where she will spend eternity as a result of her relationship (or lack of) with Christ. Whether you believe that her taking her life is a 'mortal sin' or not, that would not matter if she did not have Christ in her heart to begin with. And while I am absolutely not judging this poor girl, simply by reading what she has said throughout this, and especially in her 'goodbye message', it does not appear that she was a believer. That is what pains me for her and the possibility of her not being 'in a better place'. For me, it's not connected to the ending of her life, but what might have been missing during the living of it.....

Which is code for you have nothing to argue against his points.

Apparently this is a situation that hits close to home for you. But that doesn't make your opinion the end all be all.

How old are you? From your comments I'd put you at about 17. You can't read, or comprehend, his reply yet have the audacity to call someone stupid? You are clearly a massive fricking moron.

Correct. Cowardice is very rational.

I wish Lauren Hill's story was 18 pages. We can all learn from her. She is truly dying with dignity. Steve Gleason is dying with dignity.

She is better than this woman because she played a basketball game?

Did she give up? This woman didn't "fight" cancer, she gave up.

I know this. If I had a terminal illness, I would fight like hell to spend one more Christmas with my wife and children. I would fight like hell to spend one more anniversary with my wife. I would not trade that for some sleeping pills and the Grand Canyon. While I wouldn't wish cancer on anyone, I also wouldn't be parading myself around all over creation a month before I new that I would leave this world.

No, that was code that I have to get in the shower and get ready to leave.

If anyone has read my posts, I have never once said she should not have had the right to do what she did. I have never once brought religion into it except to say it is between her and God. I'm not wearing her shoes. What I take issue with is the euphemistic way this is being explained. People have repeatedly posted how selfless and brave she was because she chose not to put her family through having to care for her and the pain of watching her die. If she is selfless, then the implication is that those that choose to follow the road to the end are selfish, cowardly, and undignified. We know that not to be the case, but I feel the verbiage pretty much shits on people who fight to the end. I don't think it's fair to those that choose differently. That is my only point. I don't agree with her choice. I don't believe it to be selfless or brave. But I don't care that she made it. I know why she made it. And I don't judge her for the act itself.

There is no fight, there is only misery, for both of them. This woman wanted to avoid as much of it as possible.

This so called fight is filled with embarrassment, humiliation, pain, grief, and all other kinds of turmoil. It's all glamrous when it's portrayed as a final basketball game, but Lauren Hill is in for a nightmare of an end.

You and I are on the same page. I also think her choice would have been different had she had children.

There is no one route or one blanket statement that covers the topic. Saying she is brave isn't shitting on people who fight till the last breath. They are brave as well. Brave and dignity come in a million different venues. You shouldn't think because one specific way gets some attention that the other way is now stupid and people are shitting on it
