Did the supposed "study" take into account that gay couples don't get the same benefits and resources that married couples do, which may make it more difficult to raise kids? I bet not.

Way to work for "tolerance."
So uninformed and ignorant. Most of the states with gay marriage had it passed by either statewide vote or by the ELECTED state legislatures.

The study was completely destroyed by the author's peers. Just because it was submitted to a respectable scientific journal for peer review does not make it respectable science.

Being a parent, I have studied a lot about parenting. I feel sorry for children with one parent or one absent parent. I know the what the implication of my actions are to my children. I know how things my parents did impacted me and it parallels what specialists on the subject say. I don't think its conjecture. We do agree on one thing, parents today suck.

We need a BS police force for both sides on this subject.

Great. That's how it is supposed to work. Argue your position and convince the electorate of the rightness of your cause. The losers may not like it, but they have to accept that the outcome was/is "the will of the people."
They to achieve the outcome via litigation creates nothing but animosity (see Roe v. Wade).

just pass over the fact that you have no idea what you're talking about since you apparently believe the courts are forcing all these states to have gay marriage.
And one of the purposes of the courts is to protect minorities. You can't always go by "the will of the people". If you did, interracial marriage would probably still be illegal in some states.

Today the Supreme Court of Kentucky ruled that Kentucky’s denial of recognition for valid same-sex marriages violates the United States Constitution’s guarantee of equal protection under the law, even under the most deferential standard of review. Accordingly, the Court deemed Kentucky’s statutes and constitutional amendment that mandate this denial as unconstitutional.
This is the identical argument lodged by La.'s Forum for Equality in today's lawsuit.

Paying less for healthcare and getting a better benefits package value. You can deduct more on a joint filed tax return.

More money does not equal better parenting.

The biggest proponent of same sex marriage comes from divorce lawyers. Think about all the money they could make if it were legal.

I think you misunderstand. Money is certainly a variable that should play into any argument on the well-being of a child.
