It's about judgment day terd, you're correct.
But little known fact:
Jesus was obsessed with lamp oil, and wailed about bridesmaids keeping extra oil. It was some sort of weird obsession never really addressed by religious scholars.

Are you talking about the Great Flood of the Old Testament? If so then yes, he killed them all except for Noah and his family because mankind had become so wicked and sinful.

More like a progressive interpretation of God.
The OT was believed to have been started around 1400 BC and the NT completed around 100 AD... with about 500 years between the two.
Over a 1500 year stretch it's not unlikely that man's interpretation and understanding of God would alter a bit.

He also preached adamantly about stealing hidden treasure from land owners. It's right there in the Bible!
