I got in a club once with someone else's fake ID. It didn't look me and was 6" taller than me. I have a photographic memory, I always passed any questions about the info on the card. Worse abuse of a fake ID?

Before they started using those machines and stuff, and before I was old enough to drink legally, I just "adjusted" the numbers on my own ID. It wasn't hard to do with a good printer and a steady hand. Never got busted.

Yes, much easier to accomplish circa 1985.
I guess nowadays the only way to beat it is through borrowing someone else's.

Went to see 3 bands play at Ole Man Rivers with 3 friends back in the 80's. Drinking age was 18 back then. We were all 16-17 yrs old. I was the only one that brought a fake ID. Since I used the ID before, I was confident that I wouldn't have any problems. Back then I was 5'8" 145 lbs. with brown hair and green eyes. One of my friends was 6'2" with blonde hair and blue eyes. Another friend is Puerto Rican. The third friend is black. All four of us got in using the same ID.

Haha, it wasn't that far back but yes, it was much easier then.

I had one starting out at LSU and knew everything by heart. This was back when the SSN was listed on it. Worked most of the time. One time I tried buying some beer at the mart across Nicholson in front of tiger land. The guy drilled me on all the info and I recited it with no problem. He said he had one more thing for me, sign this piece of paper. I had no idea how to write the signature. Tried and failed miserably. The guy said nice try but gave me the ID back.

Nah, for like 300 bucks or so you can get a fake ID with your info on it and it will scan and everything. There are ways to tell it's fake, but most bars don't go thru the hassle, technically it's not on them to prove a fake as long as they went through the process correctly and throughly enough to reasonably believe the ID was real

I was 20 in 2011 during the National Championship game in NOLA. I had my friend's ID from Florida who didn't look a thing like me. I got immediately bounced on Sunday night while Tebow was playing in the playoffs on the TV at the bar.

They gave me the ID back which was weird.

I used to scan, edit, and print out the ID on paper. Then tape it over an actual license. Still can't believe that shite used to work.

Fake ID skills got a lot more advanced after those trial runs.

I sold fake IDs in undergrad. Used ID chief. Would order 10+ af a time for $50 but sell them for $100 and all I did was send the info. Make a lot. Eventually got stopped by homeland security when a small package got stopped at customs in Ohio. Slap on the wrist. Business closed.

On a side night, all the IDs were legit under a black light, and scanned and swiped.

I once used an ID of a 54 year old black woman that I found in the parking lot of Subway. The guy laughed and let me through.

Went to HS in MS. We made our own fakes using a few methods. This would be from 2001 to 2003.

Easiest method: go to DMV and claim ID was lost. They'd make a new one. Immediately upon it being given to you and still warm from the machine, start bending it. The hologram would pop off.

Scan the ID. Shave off the info with a razor. Print on thin sticky paper new info. Then use adhesive to get hologram back on. Eventually we realized we should use our own names/info because if you're busted the cops would figure it out anyways (never did). Still remember the names we made up.

Otherwise take old ID and soak it in rubbing alcohol. Eventually hologram would come off. Repeat process.

Everyone must had known looking back at those photos in New Orleans at 16 years old

Had South Carolina IDs from ID chief from the time I was 19 to 21. It got turned down 2 or 3 times but I was always careful where I used it. Best $100 I ever spent.

i used to do the same thing back around 99 or 2000, before they swiped id's for verification. it would usually work at liquor stores n such. IIRC a utah dl was the easiest to make.

for shits n giggles, my friend and i once tried to use some black dude's id to buy liquor when we were 16. unfortunately there were off duty vice cops standing in line behind us when we got denied. we were in handcuffs shortly after.

Back in college my friend who was 18 used his Russian friend ID to buy 30 cases of the 30-packs of beer for the Spring Break trip to Panama City. He used same ID to get into Club La Vela. It worked. The age of the Russian was 27. My friend was a big guy. No way it should have worked but it did. Worked all weekend too.
