Ahh, OK.
Still can't really recommend used Volvos in that price range, unless you can get a factory backed extended warranty.
In your range I'd be in the Ford Explorer, Toyota, Honda Pilot, etc.

Do not buy a used Volvo. Their liability is very hit or miss.

Buy a Toyota if you are worried about maintenance and service.
