The part you quoted mentions why she can't participate. She hasn't met requirements for graduation.

Don't know. It's irrelevant to me because I would look at each request individually.

Sorry but I guess I'm a D-bag. I went to summer school the year prior to me graduating to make up a class I flunked to make sure I walked with my class. I feel for the girl but just like her shortened life and the rules of the school, that's the way it goes sometimes. Learn to accept it.

big difference, you were either just dumb or lazy... this person has a life threatening disease

My son has cystic fibrosis and I would bitch like a motherfricker if he wasn't allowed to walk because he was ill for an extended period. It sounds like this girl has shown she wants to graduate by making up all of her class work. Piss on that school.

I'm sure the smarmy a-hole superintendent didn't even bat an eye. Who gives a frick if she walks. She literally may die within months of walking and they're denying her one of lifes greatest moments for a teenager. frick em

I am for her being able to walk at graduation, let me be clear on that.

But is 25 years an accurate prognosis these days? I only skimmed the article but does this girl have a very severe case? An ex of mine has CF but I assume it was only a mild case, as the only way you'd know is she had to take some pills and wear this breathign machine a few minutes a day, but that was it. I think the life expectancy these days is like 35 or 40 years.

“I don’t know how long Victoria is going to live. Of course, we always aim for the moon, the sky and the stars, but in reality, her life span is limited. And so every experience is very important for her,” said Grace McKennon, Victoria’s mother.

You "guess" you are a douchebag? No need to guess....you are. It is evident in every thread where you endorse punishment and seem to relish in others misfortune. You being behind because you were a fug up is not even close to the same as a girl who was behind due to a lifelong medical issue. Typical little man complex that define sociopathic cops and their cheering section fans like you.

Average life span is around 35. However, that does not mean shite cant turn severe with the quickness. And trust me, there is way more involved that just taking some pills and wearing a breathing machine a few minutes a day. Not calling you out, just saying.

The other students should refuse to walk. That's what I would do. She would be walking in no time if they had a huge issue on their hands like that.

I don't know why they couldn't see this coming and get her into an online course for the credit. It happens all the time.
