That's the result of these laws limiting where they can live. Around here there are several nests of 5-10 sex offenders each. If you take a compass and draw the 2,000 ft. circle from schools, daycare centers, women's shelters, churches, playgrounds, etc., it creates them. Back when we were house hunting, we found this great one with a shop, beautiful oak tree, tons of space, etc., for like $40k less than market value. Couldn't figure out why it was such a great deal. Then the realtor figured it out - a nest of sex offenders two blocks down.

There's hardly any around me but there is 1 hit for the above. The guy was convicted 1997 and lives on mine and my wife's running route. Sometimes she runs alone.
