My cousin is a registered sex offender. He had sex with a drunk girl while he was in college. They were both extremely drunk.
She claims rape. He can't really remember what happened so he pleads down and does about a year in jail. They were both 21 years old.
I'm not excusing what he did or what may have happened. He told me he was black out drunk and I believe him. He hasn't had a drink since and he is about 40 now.
My point being not all sex offenders are pedophiles and serial rapists. He was just a dumb college kid who made a shitty decision that he doesn't even remember making......
Now he is on that list for life as a rapist.

Found this POS two blocks over. We live in a nice neighborhood, average home is 1/2 mil. Goes to show you they are everywhere.

I thought that too, as there is a sex offender right across from my child's school, but I looked up Louisiana law and apparently it has to be a certain type of sex offense. This persons offense was against a juvenile (13-17).
I did find a man on the corner of our street that was convicted of forcible rape. And about two blocks away a legit child molester. He looks like a nice old man too.

Don't live there now, but for being such a large neighborhood, I was shocked that Shenandoah only had 2 sex offenders. I have more within 3 blocks of where I live now (although to be fair, there are some apartments and higher population density).
One of the guys who was a senior in high school when I was a freshman was on the list. Very smart guy and played on the basketball team. Would never have suspected he was that kind of person. Has now ballooned to over 300 pounds.

Have about 12 or so with in 5 miles of me. Only one was white. What is it with the brothers.
