The City has gotten worse since Mitch took over because he caters to a vocal minority. I don't go to the city that much even though I live 20 miles away. I go to some baseball games at Tulane but that's about it now. I really enjoy the WWII Museum but won't be visiting again. 25 years ago, going to the quarter on the weekends, the zoo, city park, etc was a common thing for us but the last 5 years or so we rarely will go into "town".

What I don't get it that they want to take down "all symbols of white supremacy" when its a fact white people reigned supreme over these people for over 400 years. Not to saying this is right or wrong...but its the truth.

This next election is very important for the future of nola. Vote is in November. Mitch is done allegedly in February.
In order to be taken down, whatever they propose has to be determined a public nuisance by the council.
