I don't expect a full stop. How about an effort to fricking slow down? He wasn't having any of that, he barely changes speeds. His slowing down comes after as he wins and the chick is brushed to the side.
Left lane while not passing on phone? Don't know why it's so hard to grasp that both people can negatively contribute to a situation.

Everyone who says the trucker is wrong, turn in your license. 100% probability you assholes do the same thing this VW driver did.
Let's recap!
-Altima and VW passed on the right. Illegal
-Altima and VW braked before and after merging. Unsafe lane change. Illegal
-Altima and VW both slowed down immediately after unsafe lane change. Obstructing traffic. Illegal
-Trucker started veering to the left before VW is fully within the left lane
-Trucker was occupying the lane. Assholes of the board, pay attention. He had no obligation to let the VW into his lane just because the VW's turn signal was on. Doing so would remove what was left of the gap the trucker had left ahead of him, no thanks to the Altima
-Rev's are from downshift. Trucks cannot accelerate that quickly at that speed
-Talking on phone is not illegal and therefore, not a factor
-Trucker probably dumbfounded VW driver would be so stupid as to change lane at this time. Once VW commited to changing, note the truck veering to the left. Perhaps assholes of the board prefer to see carnage, so long as VW was okay!

I think people understand that from a legal perspective, she was wrong from the evidence of the video, which is inconclusive, but the point is he sped up when the accident was completely avoidable.
Yes, after he sped up, and made sure she couldn't get in, he probably thought, wow, she refuses to comply to my warning that I'm not letting her in, so I better ease off toward the shoulder.
He did something that I have done before to not be cut off, and when it was too late he tried to avoid collision. It's a dangerous game to play with a monster vehicle like that, he's dangerous.

She shouldn't be passing in the right lane. The only time I pass in the right lane is if someone is being an oblivious a-hole and riding the left with no traffic in front of them. If you have to cut some one off to stop from rear ending a vehicle ahead in the right lane then you shouldn't be passing.
