Dude was a thug resisting arrest, with a gun, and was a child rapist. There's not much more to say besides the fact the general public raised nearly a million dollars for this piece of shits family. Things maybe could have played out differently, but put yourself in the position of an officer that is risking his own life. The fact that THIS STORY is the one chosen to represent police brutality and even racism is a joke.

This is the TPOS that has become the poster child for police brutality in BR.

And here's the spin. Shift the focus away from Alton Sterling being a convicted felon, a child molester, a felon in possession of a firearm, a person that did not comply with an officer's request, a person that tried to intimidate another person by brandishing his gun and a person that resisted arrest ... forget all of that ... and just remember he was the "victim."

quote:

The Trump administration has been a total failure since before he ever took office, but this is a new low. No one had regard for this family. This administration didn’t allow the man’s children to find out the details of this investigation properly.

quote:

Several community leaders and I went to visit with Sandra Sterling and watched as she wept and asked questions about why this was handled in this manner. While we were there, Governor John Bel Edwards called, Congressman Cedric Richmond called, but not a single person from the Trump administration, the people who actually have answers to give this family called. There are people in leadership who have shown their compassion, but our nation has disrespected this family with it’s handling of this sensitive information.

What part of "leaked" information do these people NOT understand? The DOJ is making their official announcement today. If the Sterling family wants to be upset, they should be upset with the Washington Post. The Post does not work for the DOJ and released this information on their own accord.

quote:

The manner this situation was handled by the DOJ is an insult to the Sterling family, an insult to people of Baton Rouge — and a disgrace to our nation. This is what justice looks like in Trumps America.

We have ALL predicted this would become their crying point.

Despite the fact that the Obama admin did the investigation. They just kicked the can down the road so Trump would look like the bad guy.

It was predictable as hell.

Yeah, so the retards are now going to just blame the Trump administration when in fact the Obama administration was going to reach the same conclusion. Dummies.

You are expecting people to use common sense which they do not have

Heaven forbid some of these media outlets actually report the news. I really am flabbergasted that none of them have the balls to do it. I'm sure BLM hasn't scared them at all after seeing some of the past instances.

Why in the frick would the president of the United States call this family?

Alton was an CONVICTED sex offender.

Alton was an CONVICTED criminal (multiple times over).

Alton was FIGHTING with the police.

Alton was an FELON in possession of a firearm.

Alton was FIGHTING with the police trying to reach his illegal firearm.

Why in the frick would the president give this family one single thought about Alton or his family? If Alton were white he still would be dead given the same circumstances.

It's not great, but it's more comprehensive than a lot of local stuff I've read. And it's British so there's a lot lost in translation.

Family angry at reports of DOJ decision in police shooting death of Alton Sterling

LINK /

The family of Alton Sterling was angry after media reports surfaced indicating a decision had been made on whether to prosecute two Louisiana police officers in his death.

quote:

The Washington Post and The New York Times first reported Tuesday that multiple sources told them the US Justice Department, which led the investigation into the shooting, will close its investigation and not seek charges against the officers.

Family members said they had been told they would get news of the decision before it was publicized. CNN has not independently confirmed the media reports, which cited unnamed sources.

The Justice Department's official statement Tuesday was there was no decision. Sterling family members, their attorneys, Louisiana's governor and Baton Rouge's mayor said they had received no word.

Per the Advocate

"An attorney for one of Sterling's aunts....said the family hasn't yet been informed"

Why would his aunt need an attorney?!
