One that historically and presently, doesn't not usually charge police officers in these sort of situations.
Because in the majority of these situtations, officers are historically and presently justified in their actions

Sad and tragic but they will walk away with their lives, and won't have to face a jury of their peers.

What about the militarization of felonious thugs?

Who doesn't deserve it? They should also seek forgiveness?
I would imagine that they didn't set out to kill someone that day and thag if they are rational, sane and emotionally in touch people that they would be a little affected by what happened. I hope they find solace and peace. Even if it was "doing their job", I saw officer slager in SC and the pressure the whole shooting put on him. It seems like a normal human reaction

Ying yang of the 2nd amendment. We make guns readily accessible so it's can't be a shock that felons illegal possess guns. Sadly there are just too many out there.

Much of the information included in any federal report that might be released might be used against the officers in their civil cases.
Civil lawsuits have an even lower threshold than the criminal charges that Landry could bring on behalf of the state. But civil cases must be filed before July 5, the first anniversary of Sterling's death.
They will get an insane amount of $$ from the metro council

Because most of the time in officer involved shootings, the police were justified.
Police don't get a free pass when they are in the wrong though (see guilty plea in the case of the officer from Carolina this week, and likely upcoming criminal charges for the cop in Dallas that's already been fired).

But if LEOs try to take a felon into custody who is in possession of one they should just ask nicely?

The Slager shooting and the Sterling shooting are apples and oranges to anyone who isn't simply race baiting.

If you're going to make a statement this stupid, you should really provide some evidence to back up your bold claim.
And that way, when you provide nothing to back it up, we can all shite on you.

They shouldn't get not one damn penny either. The thug POS was in the wrong not the BRPD Officers.

It's the biggest problem with the Black Lives Matter movement. Their cause encompasses cases that truly are all over the spectrum. In order to do that, they have to put less emphasis on the facts of each individual case and more on the notion of "institutional racism".

Dude was a thug resisting arrest, with a gun, and was a child rapist. There's not much more to say besides the fact the general public raised nearly a million dollars for this piece of shits family. Things maybe could have played out differently, but put yourself in the position of an officer that is risking his own life. The fact that THIS STORY is the one chosen to represent police brutality and even racism is a joke.
