Save the magnet stuff for another debate.....

They are great schools in an otherwise broken system.

Lee will be a magnet school.
Sort of a magnet school. Anyone who lives in its attendance zone can be admitted. Once admitted, students will have to maintain a minimum GPA to stay at Lee High.

I didn't assume that the 80% was comprised of a single race. You did so maybe you should point to yourself as the racist. I just repeated a stat that I heard on the radio two years ago.

I'm a realist not a racist. The proponents of St. George want to throw the race card. Read this thread. You said the St. George district had a part in electing Kip. Why would you make that statement when I never brought up the black mayor...no one had until you did. I was just pointing out that is evidence of who the real racists are in this parish...research how each race voted and tell me which one voted for race more than the other.

It's only about race because that is the only argument BR can make against SG. Instead of facing the facts that the EBR school system sucks and trying to please the SG proponents with better schools they just throw out "well they are racist and want lily white schools". fricking pathetic.

BTW I live in 70808 and I can't fault the SG proponents one bit.

As the other poster said, you sir are an idiot. Looks to me like it's a geographical area that consist of primarily educated working people supporting the rest of the lazy, welfare driven, aids infested Baton Rouge area. People are getting tired of supporting the dysfunctional portion of society.
