re: St Charles Parish deputy ambushed while working in a school zone

This would cover a roadway which goes through a firearm free zone, which does not pertain to this incident due to being more than 1000 ft away from a school. Although where is the exact measurement made from the school? Is it the edge of school property or furthest building associated with the school?

This can't be true because all those officers that responded were green lighted to shoot the guy.

You think they knew he suffered from mental issues before they arrested him? From all indications, he was driving a vehicle, so I doubt he was visibly mentally retarded or anything.
