Him being an a-hole was probably the biggest factor.

Of course, what's the difference between that and Tommy Spinosa being able to walk the streets of BR with his head held high, like he did nothing wrong?

It's all fricked up. I don't get it.

I sit up at night and sweat what Spinosa might build on the Rouzan land. That fricker would put a low-income apartment complex there if it made him a buck. That's all I need is to put a bunch of thugs within walking distance of my hood so they can steal shite while I am off at work

Funny hijack. Old Jay(if that was his name) didn't care for me very much. Circa 91 I was courting his daughter. Called her one summer weeknight after 12 or some shite. Man I'll never forget that arse chewing when he picked up the other line.

Well he was approved to build the movie theater that kicks people out if they light up a cell phone. So I think for now we are good.

I live by there too in Pollard, two big cranes are now out there, and it looked like they were going to start driving piles soon. I can't wait until the street system between Woodchase and Southdowns is connected.

Section 8 needs to go. It is just welfare for landlords.

I assusme that's kind of a tweener between regular tenants and sec 8?

I think the landlords in Sec 42 can set aside apartments for a tax credit from the city at smaller rents.

We're in the condos next to the District on Perkins. Did you get that fricking mailer about the new sex offender moving in on Pollard Parkway? Dumb frick looks like he just boned a teen, not the real sickos we should worry about.

Sure did, I laughed when I saw that.

Wouldn't be surprised to see that go Section 8 one day. I mean are those apartments even 50% rented?

Nah. I think I met her at Don Carters or some shite like that.
Hell not even sure I got past first base. She was my age but sheltered and couldn't get out like us bad boys could.
Think her name was Jessica if I recall.

Time to retrosex via FB.

Word on the skreets is that the general contractor who's building it has to BEG companies for pricing on anything in there. Most everybody they contact is like "What? That Spinosa project? Nope."

I can't wait for the next Advocate articles or BR Biz Report articles about how people can't seem to get paid in there. I mean, that track record is so clean. What could possibly go wrong?

Suckers.

Having known some contractors that have built stuff for him before, I find this rather easy to believe.

It seems that the contractors building the residential portion are well known through the community, and aren't just companies building spec housing (at least from the signs i've seen when driving by, I could be wrong). So hopefully they don't botch that part of the project up too bad.

When the shopping opens, I can't help but think how bad the traffic on Perkins is going to get.

residents in that area protestested bigtime when the building of that complex was proposed. Mainly because everybody thought it would bring extra traffic, crime and unwanted new residents to the area. Of course, when they did they were called racists and it was built anyway.

I almost bought one in there before I settled on the one by Ivar's. We could have been neighbors.

There are some good deals in there. That crazy old lady who walks up and down perkins and uses CATS lives by us. YOu've seen this lady around BR in last decade. She has job handing out free papers and shite in neighborhoods.
Like a female Bubbles. Other than her, all neighbors are AWESOME.
