Whether or not you believe in the divinity of Jesus of Nazareth, what cannot be denied is He is unquestionably the most influential human that has ever lived. No one before or since Him has changed the world or had a bigger impact on the world. And here we are over 2,000 years past his crucifixion and his influence is still global.

But the most amazing part of it all is that He was born of dirt poor Jewish parents, never traveled more than 200 miles from where He was born, never held high office, never wrote a book, never conquered anything or even commanded an army. And in his 33 year lifespan His ministry was only 3 years long. When he was crucified the only possessions He had in this world were the clothes on His back. Looking at the life of Christ from a logical standpoint, there is nothing about His life that should lead to Him being remembered in history at all. But yet, somehow His life changed and shaped the world for the past two thousand years plus with billions of people across the globe putting their faith in this 33 year old Jewish carpenter who lived two millennia ago. Even if you don’t accept the idea that Jesus of Nazareth was who He claimed to be that is nothing short of astounding. So this leads to the obvious question, how is it possible this seemingly unremarkable man has had such a lasting and transformative influence on the world?

When you're the son of God, you become influential.

It’s almost like He would be God or something

For the same reason that the kardashians are famous.

The masses liked what he was selling.

You can attribute it to divinity, you can attribute it to the need inside of man to believe in something greater, it doesn't matter.

I dunno... I kinda feel like Abraham is more influential than Jesus if you strip away any connection with the divine.

Abraham was founder of Judaism which is the root of both modern day Christianity and Islam.

Many, many people have claimed to be the messiah. They and their claims quickly disappear. Jesus has persisted for over two millennium.

Rome decided it was the way to go and then a bunch of other Euros had fun forcing it on a lot of other people spread across the world.

Mohammed will surpass Jesus in a few decades though as people go more secular in Christian realms and the Muslims keep breeding at the rate they are currently. So enjoy it while you can.

Edit: Abraham does seem like the better choice since he covers 3 major religions.

But did they? When he was crucified even his most ardent followers abandoned Him and went into hiding. When he was lead through the streets of Jerusalem to his crucifixion, the crowds that had cheered him just days before cursed Him. At the end, literally everyone except His mother and maybe 2-3 close followers abandoned Him. If I remember correctly only His mother, Mary Magdalene, and his brother were there at the cross. That should have ended the story of Jesus of Nazareth. But it didn’t.

If he is so loved around here- why aren't more people like him? Ghandi got it soooo right.

“I like your Christ, I do not like your Christians. Your Christians are so unlike your Christ.”

If you’re that amazed that the ‘son’ of god can amass a following so large, you’ll be floored in that just a lowly ‘messenger’ in Mohammad is trailing in followers by just 400 million.

What's wild is it's ignored by the people who claim to follow his message.

Ever heard of Muhammad?

You Christians are something. Let’s look at Easter.

1 Easter baskets
2 Reese's peanut butter eggs
3 Bunnies
4 colored eggs
5 hunting colored eggs
6 flour bonnets
7 Ham
8 Crawfish boil
9 Robin eggs
10 Peeps

Hell Jesus doesn’t even make the top ten. Lmao
