In that situation how would they have the right to complain? I guess they could compain about their lazy husband

Both parents working...a lot of moms still do most of the housework. Other than laundry I don't see how tough the housework is. Easy to keep a home clean if you stay on top of it...15-30 minutes a day should be more than enough for an efficient person.

I also think it's bullshite that 6000 women say they average over 14 hours cleaning a week.

Are you suggesting that it is unusual for the finer sex to exaggerate?

I've worked full time with kids. I hated it.

I worked part time with kids ... Loved it until the hospital closed and I was out of a job. That's the only time I ever stayed home full time ... 3 kids were all in school. Got caught up on lots of "spring cleaning" type things and then got bored. Husband didn't care either way about my going back to work.

But I did ... I wanted to feel like I was contributing ... My job for the last 6 years allowse to schedule around my kids school and activities .. For ME it's the best of both worlds.

I have no maid ... No nanny .. No chef. No yard man. And I'm not stuck up and spoiled nor do I look down on moms who work OR those who don't!!

This

What are you doing for 12+ hrs a day?

I can come home from work, start dinner, put clothes washing, clean my kitchen, vacuum if need be and put clothes away in 45 mins if I'm going slow.

On top of that, I probably won't have to do some of that the next day because it's already done. Granted I don't have any kids, but I can't imagine them causing 12 additional hours to my regimen. And if I got to stay home ALL day? Pfffth...with all due respect to you ladies, stay at home moms who bitch about it are retarded.

You REALLY think that if we paid moms to stay home their kids would grow up to be better citizens? Do you know how stupid that is? We already do that for black women and over half of their kids end up in jail. Come on bro!

SAHM are the worst when it comes to whining. They top teachers IMHO. They just fricking blather on and on about how hard their job is.

I mean it does look like it sucks who the frick wants to be surrounded by kids all day? YIKES. 2 hours of my nieces/nephews and I get annoyed. , but the SAHM I know all seem to have time to work out, watch daytime tv, and go out to lunch.

Lots of respect to stay at home moms. I could never do it. It's a tough job.

They have a way of slowing things down.

The idea of a stay at home mom or dad is to raise the children. No one decides to devote their lives to housework. I think you don't have the perspective to see the benefit.

As to the ones complaining... There are people who bitch about anything and everything. frick em. They need to recognize they have an opportunity many young mothers want but can't afford.

I don't think they feel superior to working moms...I think they feel inferior so they exaggerate how tough it is staying home. I have a few friends who are constantly bitching about wanting to go back to work...ask them if they want me to get them a job and they shut up real quick. To each his own though. I'm not judging but don't complain about how tough it is when lots of people have to be at work on a set schedule.

Most of the people in this thread bitch constantly. I see more bitching on the OT than the stay at home moms that bitch on fb. Get over yourselves.

Yeah, what in the frick? 1.5 hours per week and my place is spotless. Sometimes I use a housekeeping service. They do everything in 2 hours (one person) and I could eat my dinner right off the floor without a problem.

For the record, I'm pro stay at home moms and dads.

I'm against whinny people.

I have Facebook but don't see this phenomenon of stay at homes complaining all the time. They seem happy to me.

But I work with people who whine constantly, and I hate hearing the shite.

Can you get my wife one? I get the fact that it is tough and will wear you down. Her biggest complaint is the adult interaction and not stimulating her mind. She shuts up real quick when I say, "well get a job"
