No one seemed concerned about that when I was growing up. Nearly 100% of the teachers we had were female and middle aged (or older). A handful were African American.

Didn't matter because most of them actually knew what they were doing.

I think the whole agenda here is to justify discrimination in hiring based on race.

My best elementary school teacher was African American, female. My worst elementary school teacher was African American, female. The cat in the middle, ranking wise, was a white dude. All the rest were white women.

All of them knew what they were doing. FFS, it was the 70s, baws.

All of my teachers, except for one, looked just like a big ol' knot on a hickory tree, both black and white.
