I don't have an issue with it. Seems a bit segregationist, but if that's what people want then so be it. Just don't come back in ten years when it has unintended consequences and blame whitey.

I think we've reached the point where some people have gone so far left, that in their quest to go farther left, they've jumped hemispheres and are actually sitting at fringe far-right extremist now.

God y’all are some soft bitches here.

I think it is important for kids to learn from people that look like them. This doesn’t mean every teacher they ever have should be the same race but there’s a good bit of my peers that didn’t have a black teacher until college.

Let me guess: the Democrats are pulling the old "separate but equal" play from deep in the playbook.

Yep, they'll call them the James Raven laws. Much different from Jim Crowe.

Because they get passed whether they learn anything or not

Note that neither of these things correlate with having learned anything at school.

Just like hiring based off of diversity, whether it be your sexual orientation, your skin color or your trans-ness doesn't mean you are qualified to do the job you were hired for either. This is the world that is desired apparently....no substance whatsoever.

Why can they not pass Pracis for math and science? HBCU’s pass them right through. All inner city schools should be graduating the same kind of kids as Jesuit then? 30 ACT’s and 4.0’s and 26 National Merit Finalist! After all, they have the most effective HBCU teachers and a bunch of them. Baltimore city schools should have great math scores…….oh wait! Graduating HS requires you to breathe for 4 years. Nothing else. It means nothing as far as what you learned, etc. This world is upside down.

Yep, Democrats have been telling black people they can't succeed in the same system the whites, Latinos, Asians and African immigrants have succeeded in for a few decades.

You would think they would figure it out by now. African and Haitian immigrants are more successful in America than Black Americans. Obviously the system isn't the problem.

Yes. Blacks want segregation and research says it is actually beneficial to them.

Humans are tribal, some more so than others. Desegregation may have made sense before but now it is actually keeping the black community in a death spiral.

If that is the complaint they must have gotten it wrong in the 60s with mixing everyone in one school. This stuff got me scratching my head constantly. The rules change daily with groups of people.

Just think how demeaning the concept is.

Black people can't be successful unless they're taught by people who look like them.

This has been a growing concept in progressive victimhood culture. In the UK, there were multiple stories about how black girls can't be successful in sports unless the professional women's sports have black women on the teams.

Ironically, the year the women's national soccer team was lauded for their diversity, they got their asses handed to them. When they had their controversially all white team, they were successful.

It would seem that this coin has 2 sides, I'll agree that white kids should not have black teachers and vice-versa.

Half my teachers were black. Half
My teachers were white. I had no problems. This is bullshite

A lot of races are actually for segregation as long as they’re equally funded. Which is obviously the biggest problem
