That wiki page is so depressing for the entire state of Mississippi.

If Biloxi and Hattiesburg are on the top of your list of cities it's time to burn the place down and start over.

Biloxi is a pretty cool place from a historical standpoint. Guess in never had the resources to get off the ground like a New Orleans or mobile. The port of Biloxi had a good amount of immigrants pass through it at one point.

That's exactly my point. I never realized it until I read that page but one of the high points of Mississippi is a city that never was

My family showed up on a boat to the Port of Biloxi way back when coming from Northern Ireland.
