We have taken corks out of wine bottles, filled the bottle up with whiskey, and recorked them and sealed the top. Some got them on, some didn't. I saw a lady out on the pool deck with a bottle of vodka and asked her how she got it on. She said she had been on many cruises, and she has simply put alcohol in her suit case. She said it's about 50/50 whether the actually check your bag or not.

There are also ways to buy alcohol in port and sneak it on, but that is a bit more involved.

You can bring alcohol on Disney Cruises.

Walmart of the seas.

You should try taking all the money you spent on the cruise and burning it in a barrel fire. It would easily be more enjoyable.

Is this just a thing? I mean, no doubt alcohol on the ship costs a lot more but are the savings really that significant?

Went on a Disney cruise over Mardi gras.

24 miller lites were 135$

Our tab when we left the boat was 1300$

Am I bringing and storing cases of beer plus wine and liquor in a stateroom? Hell no.

Hey Paul. It was a good time though. Disney runs a flawless business.

I like to have a bottle in the room so I can make drinks before dinner. But you are right, the amount of money I would save wouldn't be very significant.

I just went. Everyone got theirs on but me. I used plastic beam bottles thinking they would not alert the metal detector. .. turns out they are looking for the bottle profile.

The 15 others in my group got everything on by vacuum sealing the booze.

When I went on the Carnival Elation in NOLA the security screeners told you to take your bottles over to the inspection table so they could be inspected. However, nobody actually made sure you took your bottle there. We all just walked right past the table.
