According to 23 and me, I’m .5 percent African and directly related to a 100% African that was born in the late 1700s/Early 1800s, most likely making him/her a slave. Do I count?

Many years ago I had someone who I am fairly certain could've been a decendant of a slave steal my wallet that had $35 in it. Upon confirmation of their ancestry and any putative claimant, I will submit my claim for reimbursement as I am upside-down $8.

My mother's side of the family cab be traced back to Nova Scotia and Acadia. Since I am only 1/2 Acadian, it is only fair that I get only half a share.
