I’m actually more disappointed for the Chinese chick she supplanted with this move than I am in her. She wants to run off fine, go ski for Jamaica, or Honduras, but don’t take the spot of some girl that has worked her entire life and would be more than happy to fly her native flag during the ceremonies.

Just like we were in Tokyo.
We are usually 3-5 in the medal count in winter games. Norway, Germany, and Russia have traditionally been the powerhouses partly due to you know snow.
Norway will likely be first with Germany second and the Russian Olympic Committee athletes third in both golds and medal count. Our closest competition for fourth will likely be Canada and in the gold medal race, the outcome of women's hockey may decide whether we are 4th or 5th in the golds race.
The US's "star" athlete is likely to be Mikaela Shiffrin who is a helluva alpine skier. Alpine skiing is a fickle sport and it doesn't take much to go from gold to the hospital instead.
