drink plenty of gatoraide and use towels soaked in Florida water to cool off. We played Baseball and football in this heat.

Im not letting mine do it. He's gonna drop out in 8th grade and go to building scaffold, just like I did.

Keep him outdoors as much as possible to get acclimated to the heat. Hydrate the day before practice and keep at it.

How old is he anyway?

My youth baseball coach used to tell us "don't lay on the couch in the a/c eating grapes on practice and game days - get outside and get yourself used to the heat and humidity".

My 9 yr old did 1 1/2 hrs of shorts and cleats yesterday.

Tomorrow shorts and helmets

Saturday full pads
