If you've got young kids, I wouldn't spend a ton of money on furniture. We spent $1000 on this sofa from Ashley, $550 on the rug online. When my boys destroy it in 4-5 years, won't give two shits. Looks good to me.

Before you shop at Ashley, read the online reviews...we had a horrible experience with their shoddy furniture...

Definitely. Nothing like watching your toddler wipe their nasty hands all over it....repeatedly.

Carolina Chair Here you go. Old school quality, and reasonably priced.

My sofa would have been $3100 with same configuration. I'll take my Ashley $1000 special. Sofa won't stay in style long enough to get my money's worth.

The best quality couches and sofas will likely be at Stoma's. They carry Habersham, Hancock & Moore, Baddingtom Young. Don't buy the Chinese trash from Ashley unless you are on a really tight budget and plan on having for just a few years. Also look at Ethan Allen.

What a horrible name.

Stoma: LINK

Definition-A stoma (or ostomy, these 2 words mean the same thing) is a surgically created opening on the abdomen which allows stool or urine to exit the body. There are 3 main types of stoma – colostomy, ileostomy and urostomy. You should ask your medical team which type of stoma you have/are going to have as there are some differences between them.
