Something is off on this one.

quote:

A 19-year-old woman who was shot and critically wounded was found Tuesday night by Baton Rouge Police at Waffle House on College Drive.

Cpl. Don Coppola, a Baton Rouge Police spokesman, said officers learned about the shooting from a caller around 5:30 p.m., and when they arrived at the restaurant, they found the wounded woman outside.

Investigators do not believe the shooting took place at the restaurant, Coppola said.

“It is believed the shooting occurred in a vehicle,” Coppola said, possibly at another location.

Investigators later recovered a revolver from behind a dumpster near the restaurant.

Given its location, not surprised.

Now the fact that it happened at 5:30p.m.? That one took me by surprise

Not really.

I saw earlier pictures of the car with the driver's rear and passenger's front doors open. My bet is that more than two people were up to no good in a car in one of the high dollar neighborhoods in the area and one got popped. The friend drove the car to a spot where they knew the shot girl would be found and get help and then everyone bailed, with someone dumping his burner that was not involved and untraceable to him.

It doesn't take much imagination to figure out possible ways this situation could have happened.

I would only go in the morning. So sad. I love that area of town.

Out of the following options
Smothered
Covered
Chunked
Diced
Peppered
Capped
Topped
Country

I like covered as well, but I also like them smothered.

right in the middle of college drive? not really.

lets say the shooting was at Gino's restaurant. You would probably be saying the complete opposite even though its about 500 feet across the street.

Both are on the same side of college, but the Waffle House is north of interstate Jones.. Either way, I am not sure why this guy thinks College & Corporate is a high crime area.

I agree, but what I'm saying is there is more to come.

There will be lots of updates to this incident. I can feel it.

That's a pretty busy location. Don't think I've been there sober, but I never considered it a dangerous area.

I always thought the exterior was unique for a Waffle House.

Title is misleading. Victim was found at WH. Article clearly states shooting didn't take place there. Vic could've been popped anywhere for all we know.
