Especially on the interstate. If it says get off, DO IT. Last time I didn't I ended up in a parking lot on I-65.

Yeah, they can get bent.

Waze doesn't endanger police, it just ruins their quotas.

How did I miss the app? I could have used it on wrecks to keep the bad drivers away from me.

If I wanted to find a cop for whatever reason, just dial 911. Or hell, drive around while black. You certainly don't need Waze for this.

You can also snap pics and upload them showing lane closures in real time. Lots of good uses for us.

Does he also want to shut down donut businesses? How about the spots where they sit waiting on us to get off from work so they can give some poor family man or pretty woman a gift.

The first time I didn't I was on my way back from Connecticut for a wedding heading down I-95 and it said to exit... I said, "No thank you, waze.. I'm going to stay on 95 S"

anyone that disses WAZE is a moron.

best app ever. I don't even turn it on..i have an automated command to turn it on whenever my phone connects to my car's bluetooth.

then as i'm listening to music on the drive to work, i get the 'watch out vehicle on shoulder' and 'police reported ahead' alerts without so much as glancing at the phone.

you're stupid if you don't use it. great for getting near real-time accident reports on the road and i have it set to 'sound - alerts only' when i'm not actively using GPS on vacation or something.

its really fantastic..and far more accurate on back roads than you'd think.

Get a Passport max, put it on highway mode with TSR on. Falses on the interstate are basically eliminated.

If someone wants to kill a cop, all they'd have to do is call 911 and have one delivered.

They say one of the technology industry's most popular mobile apps could put officers' lives in danger from would-be police killers who can find where their targets are parked.

Oh yeah. THAT'S their concern.

on more than one occasion when i've passed a cop and flagged him in WAZE i've wondered if he is logged into waze and gonna come after me

particularly if its late at night and i'm the only car for miles that passed them.

I have been convinced since last year that you are one of the founders of Waze

Now someone just needs to catch you working on the program while driving and on TD
