Baw if you only knew...

I've been DE shaving and looking for something new.

Trout--I have enough Kiehls other products to sink a ship. but I'd be willing to try their shave stuff.

Mercer Supply Co. will carry men's shaving products IIRC. They aren't open yet, but I think soon...somewhere off Nicholson toward downtown.

Only joking. My only experience with high end shaving stuff is at the stores here that cater to the hipster lifestyle. I'm pretty sure they take advantage of that and inflate the prices. I've never really branched out from Nivea, so is it worth it to try the better stuff?

I used to get my shite at CVS and my face looked like a teenage boy's after i shaved. Now that I use a better product, much better, but go on and enjoy the poors and lines at walmart as well as never getting any pussy. kthanks

BR sounds like Houston regarding this. Art of Shaving or nothing.

Look into any old school barber shops. One or two may carry a few products.

Pinaud Clubman is dirt cheap, in every CVS you've probably been in, and smells like every barber shop you've ever walked in.

I will suggest Taylor of Old Bond Street. If you're scared to order online. It smells EXACTLY like what's on the jar. Almond smells like a croissant. Their sandalwood smells like AOS sandalwood. But IMO better. Grapefruit sucks. Smells just like a grapefruit cut in half. Avacodo is awesome. Hint of avocado smell in a very neutral base scent.

Hope this helps.

Yeah, I'm aware you can get stuff online as well as reviews out the arse. Not my question though.

I don't know where you can get stuff besides art of shaving. I use sandlewood in the winter and menthol scents in the summer

What about Dillards? I never go because it's the mall and as we all know, hipsters hate malls, but I recall them having some men's products there?

Just to update this thread, I went to Mercer Supply yesterday and loaded up on some new shaving supplies. They do not have the greatest selection yet as they just opened Monday. Very helpful and the place looks great.

It is just at the foot of the new bridge on Nicholson in the old Food Systems/St. Vincent Depaul building.
