Listing things like "the pyramids" isn't evidence of anything, Heather.

In every case, the true explanation (e.g. the light bulb) is far more logical than the twisted logic used in the debunking.
I really hope you're pretty.

You literally could not be more wrong on that. Like, laughably wrong.
No one can seem to explain how they were built because those cultures could not have built them.
I forget the guy's name, but there was a French architect who had a theory about how they built the pyramids. A great show with some decent proof that he was right, but not enough to beat the conclusion that they had help.
I also read a lot of this subject.
My dad hates that show - whenever I visit, if I watch it, he'll get mad as hell and say "turn that shite off." "Quit going to those stupid websites." I love him, but he's not open to new ideas.
I'm thinking of traveling to some of the ancient alien sites to see it for myself.

Like mentally or literally?
Either way, it makes sense.

There are no aliens coming. It's too far a trip.

Again, not true. Many have explained it. Many.

Idk it seems like they have the same subtle trolling of making you question whether he's serious or not.

At least here, people are nice about that bullshite (which it is). On the poliboard, I was rex or tuba (basically, if they don't like your politics, they accuse you of being someone else).
All I want is an enjoyable discussion about something that interests me eta: and I was having a good time (which stopped a bad morning I was having)

Whatever is out there probably can't get to us. If they can it sure as hell won't be in a saucer shaped airplane

This doesn't help your heather =/= Tulane cause.

I don't disagree with that, but your discussion seems to consist of writing off legitimate explanations for your arguments and taking the stance that "aliens" is a more reasonable explanation than factual/scientific things.

I was let go - "didn't fit in." This was ok - I found new work. I was asked to play the piano at a dinner party Friday night and I did. I got paid, everyone enjoyed it, and now I'm doing it for someone else Thursday night and Friday night.
I learned a lot (mostly bad ) on my fast food experience.

You have a valid point, but here is why ancient aliens is the most reasonable answer.
I'll use the pyramids as an example. We are supposedly more advanced than the ancient Egyptians, yet how the Egyptians built the pyramids is still a mystery. With all the engineering and architectural brains studying the issue, NONE have solved the issue. This means that the most logical (and maybe someone will solve how they did it in the future) FOR THE PRESENT is that they had help from an advanced culture. The only possible "advanced culture" would be an alien one.
Again, if someone comes up with a conclusive theory on how the pyramids were built, then I'll be the first to say I was wrong. However, for now, I think I'm right.
ETA:
Strongbackweakmind: "If we can't figure out how or why ancient humans did something, it must be aliens."
Well, if our most respected scientists, engineers and architects cannot come up with an explanation given all our advance technology, why wouldn't it be an advanced alien culture?

FBI trolling Japan.
Nothing to see here.

Or just not one good enough for you?
I've read about many theories about how the pyramids were supposedly built, but all are qualified with language such as "this is one theory" or "though not conclusive" or "there are other theories ..."
So, apparently it is not "good enough for them".
Twenty years from now what we discover on Mars will prove to the biggest skeptics that the major ancient alien theories were correct.
