No one has even implied that.
I do, however, see people implying or even stating

Now imagine she's white
If she were white, she probably would've listened to her teacher and none of this would have ever happened.
And if she didn't, then even a white girl needs to be body slammed once in a while.

@NYDailyNews: An army vet watched the #AssaultAtSpringValleyHigh and recalled when the cop beat him. LINK LINK
Say it ain't so. Certainly not this upstanding cop
quote:
Martin said the beefy officer "snapped" after he called him "dude," and slammed him on the ground. He began pepper-spraying the helpless veteran, but Martin said he was trained in the military to resist the chemicals. An entire canister of the stuff failed to disable Martin.
"He became even more violent because I didn't react like most people would," Martin told the News.
His wife at the time, Tashiana Rogers, witnessed the fracas, and ran outside to take photos of the violent encounter with her cellphone.
.
That's when Fields called for his partner to "get her black arse," Martin said. The officer grabbed her phone and deleted the photos.

Here come the boot lickers to defend this a hole cop.

This "vet" and his wife's stories sound sketchy at best. I'm sure she left him because he couldn't protect her from the police. And I'm sure he was a model soldier leading up the him playing loud music like a thug in an apartment parking lot. That's just what our country needs in our armed services.

20 years ago it would have just been the teacher giving the beat down and nobody would think twice about it....alot of Tuna being created I'm America these days
So...in 1995 this would have been acceptable behavior?

She should be expelled.
A reasonable solution. Criminalizing poor behavior in school is not.

He dindu nuffin wrong. Good ole boy just trying to listen to the sweet harmonies of his rap music at an acceptable decibel level.
Seriously, cop is probably screwed.

Silly bitch with a shitty attitude threw a fit and ended up on her arse. Happens all the time.

She's learning a good lesson here. Obey the police, no matter what. Otherwise you get your arse kicked.
I expect the cop to be reinstated soon.

but teens who act in a defiant manner against authority figures obviously aren't getting the parenting at home they need..
This. The most troubling part of the situation is how the young girl deliberately disobeyed authority numerous times and wouldn't leave after the teacher, assistant principal, and principal asked her to do so several times. It all goes back to parenting. I don't think there was a going to be a good outcome here. If the officer had attempted to gently arrest her I imagine she would kick and scream violently and would need to be subdued by force unfortunately.

The cop should certainly lose his job, but the girl should be expelled at the same time. Despite his actions, you can't just drop her behavior that day as if it never happened.

Agreed. Just ask citizens of the former Soviet Union. Never ever ever question the authorities. Even when they come to take your family off to the gulag. NYNolaguy1, you should give lessons on being a good little passive bootlicker.

See here is the thing. This girl may be a complete problem, a badass at school, have bad parents and no respect for authority, we don't know but based on her actions, lets assume the worse. No one here has excused her actions. The problem is a 15 yr old was brought down with excessive physical force without exuding physical force on her part. The reaction from the officer was to much for someone was not being physical before the takedown.
