Mine was on a state highway instead of the Interstate. Senior year of high school and me and my brother are driving to school. I stop at a red light at an intersection. Light turns green and I go. My brother yells stop and I hit the brakes. I look up just in time to see a big rig fly by the front of my car. I'd say there was maybe a good 2 feet separating us. Guy ran the red light. If not for my brother I would have never seen it and I doubt I would be alive. Funny thing is my Mom had warned me that morning to stay home on account of the icy roads. I should have listened.

So you were driving well over the speed limit tailgating someone then decided to move over and be a good driver but you decided a lady cursing at you and driving just as recklessly warranted a 911 call?

A group of six or seven crotch-rockets fly up on us, surround us and start brake-checking us while keeping us from passing. This went on for a few minutes while I called the LSP. The bikes took the Airbase Rd. exit...
you showed wise restraint.
some people would have reached into the glove box, rolled down the window and start picking them off.

but now this woman has planted her car right in my blind spot and matching my speed to not let me over.
I would have hit the 6-3 downshift, chunked up the deuce and let her hear my pipes.

I had a guy driving the wrong way on I-110 in Biloxi (who was intent & successful on suicide by motor vehicle) select the pickup truck behind me to head-on into rather than my green econo-shitbox.
The two folks in the truck he hit behind me died as well.

Almost was involved with a huge wreck on I-55 street racing one night. Young driver ran up on a bystander car doing 140 and panicked when the car tried to get out of his way and they ended up in the same lane. Car behind me almost swerved into the barrier wall doing 160+(392 charger) and I ended up doing a complete 360 across 3 lanes of Hwy 55 near the Beasley road exit.

This was a while back, I'm guessing? I drove through ten minutes after and it was bad.

POS slams on his brakes, comes to A COMPLETE STOP ON INTERSTATE AND PUTS BLINKER ON TO GET OVER
i was next to him, cars swerved everywhere
I've never seen anyone come to a complete stop on the interstate to make an exit, that's fricking insane, but the number of people who notice their exit at the last second and immediately cut across lanes without any adequate time to make sure it's clear and safe and end up putting lots of people's lives at risk rather than just getting off at the next exit and turning the frick around pisses me off to no end. It's the epitome of selfishness and incompetence.

2004 - torrential downpour on i10 near biloxi headed to the casino. Went over a little bridge over a creek and hydroplaned on the other side from all of the water on the other side. Went into the median, got some airtime when the car went up the side of a crossover. Didn't flip. Broke two rims on landing and other minor damage. Didn't even get a ticket from the cops, fortunately. My light car didn't have a chance.

Yeah, that was the one, awful.

that animated fat white trash woman kind of yell where their whole body moves with their yell
1) Nothing scary happened to me personally, but one morning on the way to work, I passed this car that was weaving a little bit in the right lane. As I passed, I looked over and the lady driving was barely able to keep her eyes open with her head bobbing around as she was struggling to stay awake. I hit the gas and got out of there before she drifted into to me.
2) Watched an RV right beside me plow through several of these when I was driving during a 2 week tour of the west with my family.
3) Saw a car spinning out of control doing 360s after hydroplaning into the median during a rainstorm.
Not interstate
4) Driving too fast down a curvy county road after it had rain and topped a hill to see a pickup backing out of their driveway into my lane. I hit the brakes and started fishtailing. I started bracing for the impact when all of a sudden my tires gained traction again just in time for me to make it to the left lane and avoided slamming into the pickup.
5) One rainy morning while driving my daughter to daycare, I pull up behind a cop at a stop light. When the light turns green the cop car starts turning left and I follow suit. The car then heads straight for this sidewalk and starts taking out those white beams. He jumps off the end, drifts over to the other side of the street, then back to our lane before running over a road sign and coming to a stop just before making it to the bridge. I got out in the rain to see if he was okay and he was already calling for someone to come help. I got back in my car and went to go drop my daughter off, then headed back to the scene. Another cop was there then, so I went on to work. Very surreal thing to see happen though.

Remind me to never get in a car with you at the wheel.

Had a guy try to wreck me / end my life two nights ago in Los Angeles because i didnt let him merge in earlier.
He had his own lane ... so he didn't need to merge. And i was following someone. It was night and my phone was dead.
We get going on the interstate ... he crosses over two lanes furiously (no one was aroud) ... gets 5 feet in front of me and slams his brakes as hard as he could.
Lucky my car breaks better than his truck. We went from 65 to 10 mph in a snap.
Never know what kind of crazy you're messing with. I can only wonder what would have happened had I smashed the back of his truck like he wanted.
I can only assume he would have got out of his truck, put a bullet in my skull and finished off my injured body.

I was on I-49 around Mansfield, and saw a guy in a soft top Isuzu Rodeo doing 80 get clipped by a passing car that had to be going 100 mph. Rodeo flipped a dozen times or so and its driver got ejected. Threw him 50 yards up the embankment. When we got to him, his lower half was facing the wrong way and his legs were both bent at 90* the wrong way at the knee. Completely fricked up deal.

1.Driving on I-75 north of Atlanta, the 18 wheeler two vehicles ahead of me dropped a transmission. The Corvette in front of me hit is full speed and caught air. I swerved and got out of it unscathed.
2. Hydroplaned on I-49 north of Opelousas doing 75 MPH in the left lane with an 18 wheeler in the right. I did a 720 and ended up in the median. Didn't hit any other vehicles or flip mine, but pretty sure I crapped myself. I went and got new tires with tread the next day.

Changing a driver side tire on the Atchafalaya Basin bridge. Barely enough room. seriously scary especially when an 18 wheeler would pass. Eventually had my wife spot for me so we could both move to the guardrail when a car came driving by in the right lane

fricking meth heads.
You took my story.
