When Russia invaded Georgia on the eve of the 2008 olympics and Putin dissed Bush to his face at the opening ceremony what did you say then?

Wait I thought Obama was going to make the world respect us again but you're saying nothing has changed in that regard. They sure as hell Don't fear us anymore look how Iran humiliated our troops.

We are pushing NATO into Russia's backyard. How would we feel if politicians from China were protesting in the streets of Mexico City to overthrow the government, which has been friendly to the U.S.? (John McCain and nuland in *typo Ukraine)

Russia has acted very logically, while DC is trying to throw its weight around and contines to piss off half of the world.

We spend more on the military than all other countries combined. It's a waste and making us all poorer.

Starting a war with Russia that could literally end life on the planet sounds great. All for what? So the Russians can't have a port that was there's for 100s years already and was given away?

I'm confused about what y'all expect the president to do.

I was unaware that both them and us had been doing this for years and that it was all just a big game.

Since it is now our turn we should fly a few SR 71's over the Kremlin and dump hundreds of pounds of pink confetti.

Darth, this older little millennial buttfrick kindly tells you to frick off. Most of us see it, and place the blame fully where it should be. On the generation that fricking ruined this country, and over a dozen others.

Baby boomers

If you are one, frick you.

2. Its time for your generation to stop blaming everyone else for everything and grow the frick up.

Wait, I thought we didn't recognize what was happening in the world? That's what I addressed. We haven't been in power, outside of a few who are my age and are junior senators or congressmen. How is the current state of world affairs our fault?

So we should recognize AND carry the blame? Should have said so.

No one is blaming your generation for what's going on with Russia or how our foreign policy has gone to shite. I simply pointed out how many in your generation cannot accept the fact that things are not going well.

I think this inability or unwillingness to accept the world for how it really is stems from how they were coddled growing up.

or we see the world as it "really is" today and don't look at it with a lens made in 1980

the world is by no means perfect, but the US is at its lowest point of threat from a state actor in probably its entire history

russia is a poor country with a major demographic problem and a leader who is trying to instill patriotism to try and keep their population from essentially killing itself. as he does this, he's bankrupting their country.

china could theoretically become a threat but only if we somehow untangled our intertwined economies (not happening). IF that were somehow to happen, who do you think would face bigger issues: the technologically advanced country who needs low-level manufacturing or the low-level manufacturing country who needs technology? there would be some major transition, but we can find substitutes for their production in time. they can't find a substitute for the production of the US
