Thanks, Dmitry, for telling us something we've known for the past 60-70 years. These Russian news agencies are really on top of things. In other breaking news, smoking is bad for your lungs.

I can just picture Bush sitting back, laughing. This is akin to getting fired from your job so your buddy you work with keeps fricking with the new guy showing management how inept he is. He's not gonna bomb anyone.

Just a lot of posturing by them.

I doubt either side would unleash the nukes, because nuclear war is the end of the world as we know it.

Whatever Russia has we probably have something much bigger. There's a reason we spend so much on defense.

No whether that is for the betterment of mankind is another issue all together.

We humans don't need extraterrestrials or disease to wipe us out. We'll wipe ourselves out.

Yep, provides a great cover to funnel money to lobbyists and friends/relatives of legislators who are defense contractors.

We don't spend much on our nuclear arsenal nowadays, and our current nuclear stockpile is aging fast. I have no inside knowledge, nor could I broadcast it if I did, but I would assume the vast majority of our current arsenal are the exact same warheads we had at the end of the Cold War.

There's no need for new warheads, but warhead delivery systems are always being improved.

And they spent nothing during their collapse and a decade leading up to it. We sent people over there after their collapse to buy the bomb making material from them and discovered 90% of their silos were flooded and couldnt launch. Most of their sub fleet is rusting away in their northern port.

FIFY

We have a relative celebrity as our leader. His foreign policy is horrible. He talks big, but I doubt he would do anything but react miserably to a threat. He is a coward, and was punked on the Syria(Russian ally) thing. He has zero cred on the world stage.

Thanks Obama. Don't be late for Oprah.

I really think we should officially reply:

"Yes, you are correct. Russia can turn the US into Radioactive Ash, and while doing that, the US submarine force will assure Russia glows in the dark for 80,000 years."

Everyone needs to understand there will be no winners in any nuclear war.
