Sorry if I offended you.

I always wondered who that Pharrell kid was. What else besides The Voice is he known for?

Pharrell has been producing hit records since the late 90s.

So $7m is just a drop in the bucket for him?

Oh yeah 7 million is nothing to him

Two of his biggest songs are

Britney Spears "I'm A Slave 4 U"
Nelly "Hot in Herre"

While we're talking about stealing music, Kelly Clarkson stole her latest single from Jimmy Eat World. LINK

You may not like those songs, but you can't deny how much money they made for him

I am a country music fan but I gotta admit Blurred Lines is very catchy and enjoyable to listen to. Why do OT alpha males have to be so tough and not like or even act like they dont know who popular artists are? Does it make them manlier?

I'm gonna guess you're either younger than 25 or older than 40

Agreed. Although the video for blurred lines>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> 99% of other music videos out there.

IMO they sound similar, but not identical. I didn't immediately think "got to give it up" when I first heard blurred lines.

No it doesn't. It sets a great precedent forcing artists to be more creative and not sample existing music.
