That shite happens in Birmingham too. Three separate McDonalds and they always seem to have a broken machine. One time it happened to my brother in law. He wanted a dipped cone. They told him the machine was broken and had been for a while. So he asked them how the kids at the table next to him all had cones. I'd bet bank that it had something to do with what was ordered and waiting on the cooks more so than the fact that they were white.
But everyone always wants to interject race into everything. It tells a lot about said persons.

When I lived in Capital Heights I would go to the Popeyes on government often. I never had any issue. The opposite actually, they recognized me and knew what I ordered.

I found a Popeyes close enough to me that is run by a middle aged MexiCaucasian. If I order and the chicken is not ready to go right then, she politely tells me I can have a cole drank while I wait and will add a biscuit or a side to my order for having to wait 5-10 mins for spicy.
