The same thing happened to me at Popeyes on the corner of Bluebonnet and Burbank. I waited 20 minutes after I paid. I was actually in the drive through and I didn't get my food until I eventually backed up into the window where they took my money and waited for the manager to bring me my chicken. The drive through line wrapped around the building while they got my order out to me.
yes, I'm sure they spit in it (or worse) but it was a matter of principle at that point.

This happened to me about a month ago there. I went inside and got my money back.. Everyone else got their order in line behind me though

Man I barely made it to Popeyes drive thru last night before closing. It was like 11:55. I was stressing hard!

I don't eat Popeye's a whole lot, but when I do it's usually from the one on Staring. And the people there always seem super nice.
I have waited almost 30 minutes at the one on Sherwood one night. It was years ago and they had locked the doors like 45 minutes before closing time. They had said someone suspicious was walking around the parking lot, but we didn't see anybody. Anyway, we ordered and a few other people who came in after us ordered, and we all sat there and waited. It got to the point where it was hilarious...we were in there for over 30 minutes by the time we got our food. It was awsomely ridiculous.
But they weren't serving one race over another though.

this was early evening on Boulevard (and Ponce) in Atlanta.
I don't blame it on being white. It's just a shitty location. They don't even know what hot mustard, mardi gras mustard, or Cajun Sprinkles are!!!
