I'm a Catholic who grew up on the gulf coast and my parents made a point to try and have more simple meals on Friday's during Lent.

Oh, I'm Catholic but I was raised its better to stay home and eat a ham Sandwhich instead of going eat a seafood feast as a sacrifice.

I spent $4.85 yesterday for my lenten meal. I don't know who you know that spends $100 every Friday on fish, but that person ain't me.
