Is it a sacrifice to not eat meat on Fridays but go spend a $100 at a seafood restaurant and eat like a king?

If you would prefer to spend $100 eating steak, well then....

This thread gets started every few days every Lent by every mouth breather out there that has the same revelation.

Your wallet takes a bigger hit, so yes, it's a sacrifice. Not everyone does that, though there is a point there. Also, not everyone live in Louisiana where the seafood just happens to be awesome.
It's an inconvenience (especially at lunch when you're looking for something quick and cheap), so there is sacrifice in that too. Many don't have non-meat meals in the office fridge or at home.

Lent is just another one of those made up holidays that the Jews created to make sure they'd have plenty of demand for crawfish.

DIAF, although I'm guessing from your post that fire for you is going to come after you die, heathen.

I would ask questions like that but I'm not a judgemental baptist bitch.

More like a $3 fish sandwich from the chicken shack, red beans and rice with no sausage, speghetti with no meat in the sauce, or splitting a cheese pizza.
We ain't all ballers, and seafood is expensive.

Jesus never said we can't eat meat...so I eat meat. Plus, seafood is still technically "meat"
