Did you lose your taste or smell? How long did it take to get it back?

My mom had covid, and she lost taste for a week and a half or so. My sister had it, and lost taste for over a month. A friend had it and it was close to 3 months before everything was back to normal.

My friend had covid last fall ... she says that she's still having a hard time cooking good meals as she can't taste to tell if it's seasoned enough/too much.

A year later and we're still having the subtle "look at me, I got COVID" threads.

Oh wow. I lost my taste and smell two days ago. Woke up that morning and everything seemed fine but by nighttime, I lost both.

A solid 3-4 weeks for taste. I still don’t feel like my smell is as good as it used to be and I had it back in July

No symptoms other than loss of taste/smell in February. I can taste most things now, but its faint. I still can't smell sulphur, for whatever reason. Haven't smelt my own farts in 2 months.

Took a couple weeks after all other symptoms were gone. Pretty much the worst part.

I did drink all the nasty beer in the house that people left at random times though.

Had covid over Christmas and lost both. Taste came back pretty quickly but my smell is still off. Kind of convenient since I have a baby and don't have to smell the dirty diapers as much.
