Holding like a 6-6, 7-7, 8-8, etc. pre flop. What type of bet to make before the cards are shown?

ETA: First to act, 5-6 people

3% that you will hit one of those cards on the flop. Can you flop my penis now?

3-4 times the big blind (obviously assuming you're first to act). If you've had a raise and a re-raise before you, then you have a decision to make.

I alternate between betting like I have a high pair and slow playing the shite out of them. If you play strong, you can run train on the table on the chance you land trips.

How many players are you playing against? What's your chip situation?

Ignore 99% of the responses in this thread

And you need to give a specific situation

Tournament?
Cash game?

Position?
There are too many variables. Much depends on position, stack sizes, and the action in front of you

Definitely need to know position. What happened before your turn to act? What are the players like behind you? Cash game or tournament? Limit or no limit? Chip stack? Stage of tournament?

but I will give you the answer you want to hear. limp/call preflop, check/call flop, check/call turn, check/fold river, rap table, say good bet and muck your cards.

Say for this excercise you are first to act. 6 players at the table.

I'm normally a fairly tight player.

Raise any pair UTG

That was easy enough

I mean I normally raise but how much? I sometimes want to push the pair with a big bet but there are alot of pairs that could beat what I am holding in that situation.

Not so fast my friend. Online or live weagle? Raising every pair UTG in a full ring live game is lighting money on fire without the proper stack sizes and the right players.

Only time you should EVER not be raising any PP UTG is when you're close to bubbling. And that's some very close ICM calculations. And way beyond the scope of this thread
